We have just started out on the 3rd year of peatland restoration work in the Monadhliath mountains on behalf of the members of the local deer management group. The project this year, which SCL is again running on behalf of the DMG and its members, aims to deliver over 1,500ha of drain blocking and erosion restoration for an all-in cost of £1.6 million ex VAT. At the peak of the project we will have 24 excavators working on 14 different sites.
