Forest to bog restoration

The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) have peatlands as a key focus.  A Commission of Enquiry on Peatlands was set up recently to produce an authoritative set of reports assessing the science on key areas of relevance to policy makers. Woodland Improvement Grant – deer management

  We recently completed fieldwork on a major deer management project in Highland Perthshire for Tilhill.  It involves producing a woodland deer management plan and was funded via FC’s new Woodland Improvement Grant for deer management planning, an exciting development for private woodland managers wishing to focus on crop protection and be grant funded by the government to do so.
