Return to Kennet Pans

Beaver impacts around Dunkeld

Rapid colonisation of beavers is occurring in Perthshire at the moment Their signs are becoming more intense and extensive with every passing month.  Interesting beasties with an amazing ability to engineer the environment to suit their needs.  Here are a couple of piccies showing what they’ve been doing to some decent sized trees in Tayside.  Lots of other impacts apparent, which nobody seems to be talking about at the moment…
