Our People

Our people are our greatest asset, and nothing SCL achieves is possible without them.

We take great care to foster a good working environment, focusing on CPD and up-skilling via a series of induction and internal training processes. SCL has been an Investor in People since 2006, and uses Peninsula Business Services to deal with all key aspects of HR.

Our people are sourced from a wide variety of academic and workplace backgrounds, some related to our core business and others less so.  This includes fields as diverse as forestry, banking, national government, mountain guiding, offshore engineering, academia and conservation.  We value this diversity, and positively encourage it, because it provides us with a range of perspectives and a broad outlook which can be reflected in the services we offer.
