As another new year starts, we would like to welcome several new staff members to our team. Our recruitment process, which started in October was very successful, we had a fantastic response with a high number of well qualified applicants. As it was, we invited the 12 applicants with the most relevant experience to take part in a group interview. During the day long event, the recruits had the chance to meet the current SCL staff and experience some of the types of fieldwork we undertake. The interviewees were all of a very high standard, making it difficult to make a final selection. However, we are very much looking forward to working with and getting to know Dr Oliver Moore, Dr Sam Quin and Dr Helena Rodnight who accepted job offers and started with the existing SCL team early in 2014.
We would also like to thank all those who took the time to complete the application and to attend the interview.
